I just upgraded to the MG-30 from the MG-300, I need to figure out how to remap the control function. Thanks for this video, the manual is sparse with information. I really do love it, with the addition of the bass amps and acoustic sims, it’s an essential home recording tool.

Thanks bro! On some of them it's not really the Freeze effect as it's not available, so I improvised using Delay with a long tail. This makes it difficult to switch freeze chords. The only multi-effects here that actually have Freeze in memory are the MG30, Me80 and Me25. So these are the ones I like the most because changing the freeze chords is made easier.

in my mg30 when i press cntrl button for freeze reverb it works, but the reverb on the notes im playing is not there anymore until i release the cntrl button again. Is this normal or is this a bug in my unit?

Hi... Sounds great in headphones! In my personal works here at my home studio and when making videos for the channel, I always use headphones. I have several headphones and the closest to my Yamaha monitors is the original Koss Porta Pro. I have a M20x Audio Technica which is great for editing videos, but it have many mids modifying the guitar sounds. So, we have to know how to choose a good headphone that works well for guitar sounds.

Hi Agustin! When we step and hold CTRL, we are turning on the Freeze effect. So the last chord played is frozen and keeps sounding. So we can improvise over the frozen chord. does the reverb remain on the notes you are after playing the beginning chord ? or not? coz mine stops the reverb on the played notes when the freeze reverb is activated

Hi Jovan! The DuoTime delay I'm using has a little bit of reverb. So even though Freeze is off there is reverb coming from the delay section.

Hi Cezary! Is the output in Studio Direct? Download the patch and install it on your MG30 using the QuickTone. Google Drive link in the video description. I always leave the link in all my MG30 and MG300 videos.

Hi, I think they are both great. I like both. The MG30 has modern algorithms and carries 48kHz IRs, so I see an advantage here. But the G5n is also great.

Hello there! It's not difficult. And you can use the QuickTone program to create your tones. Additionally, I've already done most of the work and always leave the preset download link in the video description.
