for anyone wanting to try this, it got fixed (nerfed) at season 4 launch: The Tempering Affix for Maximum Size increase for various skills and effects, such as Dust Devils or Bone Spirit, is now capped at 100%. "Fixed an issue where free casts of abilities, such as Sorcerer's Frozen Orb Enchantment effect, were triggering Evade Cooldown Reduction from the affix that reduces Evade Cooldown when attacking." Teleport enchantment also no longer grants barrier because of the cooldown.

All these nice builds . I foresee a change that probably be made more difficult to do . I want to get op . But I need it to be somewhat difficult but achievable . Or New torment levels to add that increased difficulty to push the builds . And raise the ceiling more . But this season will be fun .

I didnt even know they made that change. I just started playing season 4 like 3 days ago and im sitting at like 220% size increase wondering why it aint getting bigger. Seems like a dumb change. Not sure why they wouldnt just change the temper modifiers instead of making an invisible cap to it. Still feels really good regardless though despite me having essentially 3 useless tempers. I got lucky with iceheart brais off the first iron wolves cache and got to world tier 4 at level 50 only dying maybe once. Helltides in tier 4 have been a breeze with the build.

Hey rob. I had a sorc in ptr based on nova and lucky hit on (dont know the english name.. conjurations or tth) hydra etc. So basically a pet build with lucky hit but nova + ice shard instead of orbs. Did pretty well.

Showcasing these builds is unfortunately not very informative if every Pit boss kill is done with artillery or blast shrine -_-. Pit 100 was actually pretty hard for many builds because of the boss fight.

i dont understand why u can teleport so often? the iceshard passive is only for ice shards to frozen enemies. nothing to teleport? can anyone help? thanks

The additional triggers from the ice shard enchantment count cas attacks for the boots implicit “attacks reduce the cooldown of your evade”. Teleport = Evade with the 2nd enchantment

Just for everyone who will see this Video. This build is kinda dead. Frost Nova AoE Size has a cap now at 100%. Its really clunky now. You can still oneshot a entire screen but no fast teleport cd. This title is also kinda missleading now, would be great if a "OUTDATED" gets added or something...

wish it still worked... lol. just spent all kinds of time and gold dialing in this build only to find out it doesn't really work anymore apparently. I'm literally 1 stat roll away from the exact build, half my gear is masterworked to 4.. and i can't get anything NEAR what you're doing at HALF the tier level... disappointing I was REALLY looking forward to playing this build lol. Nice video though man, keep them coming, wish wish there was a way to find out when they are obsolete before all the effort haha

I am guessing they will adjust that. Potentially like in Diablo 3 where the cooldown on an immortality skill will start only after the duration has ended. Was a good change back then in Diablo 3 to prevent fully immortal builds.

This only works because of surge mostly which is nerfed HARD and sizing to some degree which is also nerfed but mostly the novas are surging everything. without surge you will have a lot of frozen mobs but you still need to kill them.

There is no fun if there is no challenge. Blizzard has to find a way to balance this, maybe make it extremely hard to achieve by masterworking 2 greater affixes 3 times or something. Also, visibility is a nightmare for most of the size-increase effects -_-

@Ace-bg5sq Pit 200 should not be reachable for any class or build. I think if they fix all the bugs, Pit 100 will be a challenge. I never made it past 87 (not enough DPS for boss, not enough def for long fight, no time left on PTR), but people said 200 was basically as hard as 100, so this has to be fixed definitely.

Honestly didn't find this great, he's barely killing anything and just running through NMDs which means no monster kill xp nor any loot and no Juggernauts makes him easy for 1 shot kill... 4k Armor is ridiculous 😂😅
