If you guys haven’t joined the club you will not be sorry, I joined after some time, and now I’m 4 mts in and use it least twice a month. It creates my shopping list, prints the recipes I have selected and allows me to repeat the same thing if we want to repeat it. I have done this once to put together meals for a family that needed a hand. I absolutely love it. Give it a try, I’ve already paid my subscription so I’m not getting anything for saying this, I just know that it has made my easier and I have already saved the money during shopping to pay for it.

It’s a great service! When I find something that works I’m my crazy life I tell people. You don’t know what this has done for me, my hubby is in stage 4 kidney cancer and had a heart attack two weeks ago, he’s home now doing will, but to know I can spend a few minutes on your site and have a meal plan for a week in just minute with the grocery list is amazing. I do have to tweak a few things, to fit within his diet, but I can all the cream soups and stuff like that to meet his needs. I us to have evenings where I would be so stressed that I would just sit and cry. This has helped me so much

As a single person, thank you for this! It’s hard because if you cook a family meal, you probably will freeze some anyway. I just get tired of leftovers. I have been eating out way too much. It’s too easy if it’s just you.

I love your channel! I have found that 4 ounces of raw meat (hamburger, ground chicken, breakfast sausage, etc) fits in a sandwich sized zip-top bag perfectly. Smooshed flat to fill the entire bag, it freezes and defrosts quickly. I label a larger zip-top or vacuum seal bag and store several pounds in each. Great for a single person bc its about the rda of meat for the day. I do the same with regular meats,too but I weigh those. Much love from Oklahoma!

I AM SO HAPPY TO SEE THIS! I did some DV Dinners (modern TV Dinners) this weekend. I was inspired by your Cowboy Beans for one of the recipes and I modified it just a bit. First I only did 1/2 what you made and then I substituted the ground beef and bacon (although I did use the same beans as you) for sliced Grimm's smokies that were on special. Divided it into 4-2 part containers with roasted taters as the side. Tastes delicious fresh made, I am sure it will reheat well after freezing too!

My hubs and I cut the recipes in half, and it either feeds us that meal or has one leftover for lunch one of us. Our slow cooker preps never make the freezer though, we cook them fresh through the week to make sure we like the recipe first.

I would like to give you a tip on filling the freezer bags. If you take both top and bottom off a metal can that will fit in the size of bag you are using it will hold the bag open upright and keep the top of the bag clean, Also a guide to portion size, l have cans for almost every size bag,

Christie here: I prefer to defrost as completely as I can but they are small enough that as long as you get them partially defrosted, they still reheat fairly quickly.

We are big fans of using the little plastic trays that can go in the freezer and the microwave. If you plan ahead a bit, you can make a nice little variety in those trays, like your own personal TV dinner. They're just the right amount. Thanks for watching and for your interest in our recipes. All the recipes in this video are actually available for free on our website (freezermeals101.com) as are over 300 other recipes. Our recipes do get to our Club members before they come to our free site (and there are a few Club exclusive recipes) but the price for the Club isn't for the recipes (because that would be a lot to pay for a recipe 😂). The price is for the system that allows you to create custom meal plans, change serving sizes, print off your shopping list, prep list, and printable labels with the date and cooking instructions. Which is a pretty great deal for those who want to save themselves those steps. (I'll update the video description with the one recipe that wasn't on the main site at the time this video was made and is now)

Sorry? These are freezer meals to make ahead which is ideal for doubling. Were you looking for recipes for individual servings to make by themselves? We don't typically do that because if you're going to do the work, it's better to make many and then freeze them. In our Freezer Meals 101 Club, you can adjust serving sizes and you can absolutely make one meal at a time, but we don't really recommend that.
