Primeramente gracias por los videos son de mucha ayuda, estoy presentando el mismo problema compre el camión hace como unos 3 meses y lo hace poco lo necesito cambiar inmediatamente? Como se recalienta la transmisión?

If all gears are out completely including Reverse, and only 5th & 10th gear are working; the right job to perform should be a clutch replacement right? I'm at Freightliner dealer and I feel like I'm being severely overcharged. They are trying to replace my transmission saying that there are metal shavings in it. I figured they should just be able to clean any metal shavings from the bell housing and transmission. Pls advise.

francisco feliz año y muchas gracias por tus videos, creo que estoy teniendo este tipo de problema, pero mi troque de 6 a 7 hacia slipping igual de 10 a 11, el mecanico decidio cambiar el cluthc y encontramos que el viejo por el slipping estaba acabando los discos, pusieron el nuevo y aun hace lo mismo y lo han tratado de programar tres veces y sigue haciendo lo mismo, y tengo tres semanas sin trabajar porque ellos aun no resuelven ese problema, tu crees q eso se deba a que no saben de programacion o q puede ser otro problema, mi transmision es automatica dt12 cascadia 113 2015 motor dd13, gracias cualquie buen comentario lo apreciaria bendiciones

Hi Francisco, I have an 09 cascadia with self adjusting clutch. Freightliner in Fontana told me that I can switch to a manual adjusting clutch. Is it true and will it affect truck performance in any way? Thank you in advance..

Stay with the solo advantage self-adjusting clutch. Eaton will be the best option.

The reason I leave clutch pressed at stop or red light is because the stick shift is hard to put in gear and it grinds. So I always stay in 2md gear at light to avoid that

I have a 2014 freightliner Cascadia that seems to be slipping when pulling a load up hill and now it's hesitant on flat ground empty then it will start running fine for a while and then start back hesitant is that a clutch problem?

Does is slips while driving? That could be the clutch. Maybe you can do a clutch adjustment with the DDDL software

I am trying to reach 13 speed, sometimes from 9 to 10 or 10 to 11 when my foot is on gas pedal the rpm goes high and not change the gear, when I take off my foot from gas pedal and push back is changing in next gear.

@@zqdevilred you really need to get it to the mechanic really quick or else it will cost you crazy money to fix. I was having same issue with my 2015 dt12 cascadia. Usually between gear 11 and 12, when I hit the gas , rpm goes up but truck won't move until I ease off the gas and try again. Cut the story short, I ended up burning the clutch so bad, that I have to replace the cpc actuator and the fly wheels with. Cost alot and had to tow it to the shop too

Do you know what would cause a clutch to randomly slip for a quick second while accelerating through gears? Freightliner checked it out and said they didn't know. It only occasionally happens. Never with a heavy load going up hill, just normal acceleration going through gears. Clutch replaced January, but this going on last couple of months. My original clutch lasted 900k, so I know how to shift properly. Thanks!

To adjust the solo clutch you have to press the pedal at least 2 time before starting the engine

Hi Francisco , my clutch pedal started to do this, when I press the pedal it goes in half way and it gets hard and don’t go all the way to the floor, then I press and release slowly for about 8 times then it goes back normal all the way in. It happens more when am bobtailing especially when am driving on bumpy road or when I pass a rail road crossing. Any idea? 2016 cascadia 10 spd Manuel

This failure is not the drivers fault. I can explain whats the problem. Owners do not put this shitty solo clutch back on your truck. get eaton evertough manual clutch and live headache free 800k-900k miles. All you need to do is adjusting the clutch once a year… Solo and solo advantage clutches are junk. Another good option is eazypedal clutch.
