U didn't say in the video and I'm having to do mine tomorrow... I'm talking about the smaller ring gasket not the clamps that hold the filters on. Any help would be appreciated.

@@transport21 come to find out my filters were not cracked...they were put in wrong which was causing the temperature pressure to act up....freightliner took them out and replaced them correctly and did forced regen and replaced some clamps and off I went

Hey man I'm an expert Detroit tech and that doc in that one box is pushed and needs to be replaced if not replaced can cause escalating damages and core may not be accepted costing the customer thousands of dollars down the road..

+Marcus Jones Yes, you can remove them and clean them, later you can pay someone to reset the computer measurements.

when the 3720-15 code comes up you get a yellow lamp. you can safely drive until the next oil change and no shutdown or damage will occur. 20k miles or more. just because you clean the filters you still need to take the vehicle to a dealer to update the mileage in the ecm to get the lamp to go out. write down the serial numbers on the filters because the dealer will need to imput them into the software. (epa wants to know this stuff)

Fun fact, they make a tool to hold the dpf's in place and correct height. Also a mudflap is the exact height.

Thanks francisco. I had the check engine light and MIL turn on driving down hwy. 10 minutes later check engine light turned off but MIL didnt. Pulled over and check fluid levels but everything seem ok. Check for any codes but NONE active codes so i decided to make it home. 5hours later the MIL finally turned off. +allam escobar Yes, the Amber light on with no fault code means monitoring override with means that the computer need to pass all the emission monitors to turn the Amber light off. After running 5 hours the scr and the dpf monitors are fully completed.

+shyeem63 To do the DPF reset you need the DDDL (Detroit Diesel Diagnostic Link) software, it costs around $2000.00 and it is a year subscription. however, you can buy the old DDDL software from 2013 which is cheaper and it supports 2008 - 2013 models. Anyway, if you don't want to spend money buying the DDDL software you can do the DPF cleaning removal and reinstallation yourself and pull the DPF filter serial numbers and go to a repair shop just to reset the DPF, they will charge you around 65 - 140 (depending where you go)

#franciscoamaya, I have a 2014 Cascadia with DD13. I'm having regen issues. While pulling heavy loads up hill, the DEF light flashes with the check engine and fault lights and then derates. I stop the truck and use my OTR Performance Tool to perform a Forced Regen. During Regen is begins to smoke from the One Box and smell like diesel fuel. What could cause this problem or is there a problem? By the way my truck has 636,000 miles. I cleaned the DPF filters at 420,00 miles and they looked in good condition. Your help is most appreciated, Thank you,

Try by doing the SCR bypass. It possible that you SCR box is falling but that can't help
