You should read "Prompt and Utter Destruction" if you're curious about the decision making behind the bomb drop. Its only about 100 pages and features primary sources.

the NHK fee sounds very much like the UK TV licence Great video my man, great cinematography and really fun editing as always

Thanks Grevok! And yeah, the NHK fee is bullshit. Do people hide from them in the UK too?

@@frekeout Yep The BBC literally sends people round cities with Universities to knock door to do and ask if you have TV licences. It's so sketch

My wife and I are planning a trip right now to go in September. What is the name of the speak easy like place you went to? I couldn't quite catch the name. And any other recommendations (apart from whats in the videos of course)?

Hi Chris! It's called Bar Nayuta. Tokyo and Kyoto are the two must-see destinations in Japan, but Osaka, Hiroshima, and Himeji are all day trips from Kyoto and worth visiting. Give Tokyo 4-5 days, Kyoto 2 days, and the other above-mentioned just one day. Kinosaki is also amazing in the autumn and I'd highly recommend three nights there.

As for other things, I think I showed most of the good stuff in my Japan videos, but it depends on your interests. I went to Japan for Christmas, so I'll most likely make another video showing some other things to do/eat/see.

I think I asked this before but what were you doing in Japan? Was it work/job related?

It was actually a vacation. I had planned to cancel the trip in April because I had visited Japan in January, but I had just enough money to make the trip so I didn't cancel. I'm glad I didn't. ^_^
