I just now made these for Thanksgiving. Im freezing the dough after piping but i baked a few testers and these were the best ever. I made another recipe yesterday and they were too flat. These are just right. Thank you!

My aunt made this when I was growing up. She would fill the puff with softened cheese whiz then roll them in a sugar syrup and ground up nuts. Great now I have made myself hungry.

Hi Jamie I've been searching you since you were knee high to a grass hopper. I'm always impressed by the different ways you reinvent yourself... And I've made many many of your dishes.... Always successful. Thank-you for all the wonderful years and recipes. I'm going to make your wonderful baked Salmon with couscous and my own coleslaw. Hugs and much from from an English lady living Toronto.

Those look amazing! I have every single ingredient,?except for the piping bag and the attachment. Is there anything else I can use?
@recipe307 жыл бұрын
Yes, you could use a small icecream scooper. or a ziplock bag and cut the corner to size and use as a piping bag - Needs to be a strong one (not the cheap ones) :)

One could take a good guess as to how much cheese based on the video, and the same holds true for the chives which is really a matter of taste and preference, but no mention as to how many eggs yet the video says add them one at a time.

Great video! My one question is: Are you certain about the 3 teaspoons of Cayenne Pepper written in the recipe? That is A LOT of heat for only one cup each of water and flour? French foods are delicate? 🤭😁
@recipe305 жыл бұрын
Good question and definitely an error, suppose to be one teaspoon, but of course you can adjust to your liking. (Now corrected, thank you) 😀👍
@IslandGal968163 жыл бұрын
Will they stay inflated before serving or is there certain amount of time to eat them before they start to be deflated (if they do)? Gruyere cheese is so expensive from where I live. Is there any decent substitute? 😊

As indonesian,parmesan is to expensive and gruyère is not available,so what should i do?

I really don't know how to answer this one. Cheese is a big factor in the flavour. Try buying dried powdered Parmesan, maybe.that's cheaper.
