Leaving my campervan cats in their comfort for the day.
French City Centres are interesting to drive through.
Not only my first Christmas market but experiencing a different countries culture.

Enjoy the channel , safe journey,and watch out for the sneaky French speed cameras that are positioned at the entry to loads of built up areas... The speed limit is very low , there is little if any grace given and the French Authorities do pursue you once back in England. Personal experience haha 😉

Hello Josie! Who are your travel companions in the UK registered VW that’s always in front of you? Or are you a stalker? You’re now in Europe Josie, so stop driving like a Brit! The give way to the right rule catches some Brits out that have forgotten about it or didn’t read about it before leaving the UK. Basically it’s give way to the right unless the road signs give you right of way. Also, keep in the right lane unless overtaking. Lane hogging is a hefty on the spot fine in Germany. Europe is a great place so please enjoy it as I do. Wintering in southern Portugal until Easter, then off to Germany for summer.

That VW in front of me is my parents :) I have done my checks before hand and have drove accordingly so far during my time in Europe. It is a gorgeous part of the world and I am so fortunate to be able to do this trip. I will be exploring Portugal very soon!
