So glad I found your videos. We are from Delaware and some of these camping areas are close enough to us so we can get to them easily. I like how you show the trails and camping sites/campgrounds to help us decide if we want to visit them. Thank you for your time and the work you put into these walkarounds, so much information!!

I was there about 17 years ago. A friend rented one of the log cabins a few days. I kayak in the lake, a nice place. I'm about 40 miles from there.

Born and raised in WestChester about 15 mins from there. Haven’t been back in about 20 years. Beautiful area of Chester County.

Very nice park and campground. I had never heard of that place before. Nice lake, and yes, a lot of Lillies on the lake. Looks like a nice lake to boat on. Wow ! Those Cicada's !!! Thats how loud thet were at our house, and up in the mountain's above Frederick md. I loved having the Cicada's around. It was nice seeing them again. I thought they were around alot longer then they were. Well, I guess I will just have to wait another 17 years to enjoy them again.! lol Nice campground ! Thanks for the tour and great video !! vicky

We are from VT and the state parks here do not have hook-ups of any kind. We wouldn't hesitate to get a large tent site and dry camp, it's what we are used to 😊

Hi Carol. A bit cooler weather in Vermont definitely makes dry camping a better fit in Vermont. Looking forward to visiting your beatiful state in our fifth wheel. Lou

You were 15 minutes from my house when you were there. Never camped there but we kayak on the smaller Scotts Run lake once or twice a week. It's quieter than Hopewell lake. Lots of fishermen go there too. Well be in your home state next month at Canaan Valley for camping and hiking. If you ever get to NE PA check out Promised Land State Park and Worlds End SP. They're 2 of our favorites.

Awesome additional info. Yes, I’ll have to work those parks into our itinerary when we are in the area. Canaan Valley State Park and the Dolly Sods area are my favorite places in West Virginia. Be sure to activate the notification bell so you don’t miss our next video. I’ll be publishing several new videos set in West Virginia soon. Thanks for watching. Lou

Sounds like the cicadas were still going strong when you filmed this!

In mid June the cicadas sounded like a squadron of Blackhawk helicopters buzzing overhead.

Just thought I would let you know this is March of 2024 and all the double wide sites that you stated are now handicapped sites. You cannot book unless you have a disability

Do not park on the grass! The ranger will come out with his bullet proof vest and tell you to move off the grass that you are “compressing the ground” his exact words”.

We camp here a couple of times a years. Our daughter lives just up the road. The loop that was closed is now about half full hook ups. Can't wait to book this loop. For this coming March we are in C2. Great full hook up site.
