I've got about 10 lunch boxes of boeuf bourguignon without anything to have with them (because mashed potato freezes so poorly), and of COURSE I've found the perfect rolls to go with them here! Thank you, Titli! ❤️

I love these rolls tiltli and will be attempting them soon. I have started using your method for covering the dough with a plastic bag. I find it works a treat compared to cling wrap or damp towel. Just on question if I may. Is grams the same as millilitres for fluid ingredients? Thank you.

marie Savino For water and milk grams and ml are almost exactly the same. BUT it is always much more accurate to weigh the liquids than to use the marks on a measuring jug. See here... kzbin.info/www/bejne/m4mzZpecedmshtkm41s

Hi quick question, I'm living in Germany and can only find fresh yeast in the shops. It comes in small 42g cubes and I'm not sure how much to use instead of dry yeast and whether you need to activate the same way in your recipes. Thanks
@TheBreadKitchen9 жыл бұрын
lorcan grimes Lucky you for finding fresh yeast! Use twice the weight of fresh yeast compared to dry yeast. It doesn't need activating; instead you simply break it up into the liquid (in this case milk) and stir well to get rid of any lumps.

You can find dry yeast in any supermarkt in germany, just look where the flour is and you will find it, it's called Trockenbackhefe ;)

French? ;) In Poland we call those "Poznań rolls" (Poznań being a city in western part of Poland) :)
