I've never seen one with a saw attachment, thats pretty cool, the axe head looks like it would be a great fleshing out tool for making furs and a handy nose picking nail included what a bargin! I have s little fixed handle shovel that lives in my car for "emergencies". Oooh, i love a margarita! Went for a bottomless brunch recently, my mission was every cocktail that involved tequila lol. Anyone else spot the fairy fly across the camera around 18mins?

Great video Allan, I have a similar multi tool, one that’s a shovel with a ferro rod, compass and mini saw and then I have a small hatchet that has the usual multi tool add on’s, not bad for the price, but as you say they’re a little bit gimmicky and for a bit of fun, probably not that useful for actual bushcraft chores. hi alan the vango canvas force 10 in the traditional shape similer to the f2 but what a tent .when i was younger and getting into wild camping at school 42yrs ago we slept in these about 30 times bombproof only downside is its orange otherwise perfect . i use more modern tents these days but never forgot that bad boy 👍

Nice to see you using the French tent…I bought two different F2 tents one green and one sand both only have one door but it is completely covered in a bug net I want to test them in the rain but we keep getting crazy storms with 60 mph or more winds tornadoes and hail storms. The is a few different ones around. I know the desert (sand one) had only one door, but all the green ones I have seen have had 2. They have been out a long time though so the must be different options.

Some years ago, Military Mart had some of the canvas ones with the fly sheet that were originally part of the set up, sadly, the rubber coating on the floor was perished, so I sent mine back. I imagine though, with the fly sheet, they were quite waterproof.

That exactly what I do mine does not leak but always put tarp over more to entrance so I can cook and have opening

Nice giveaway that will be Allen. I stick a tarp over all my tents apart from the Pomoly teepee, just for a bit of safety, also over my Haven and NightCat hammocks as I prefer my tarp to theirs. Another great camp guys All the best Johnny

GREAT video...we love the F2 tent, and have a couple (strangely neither have ever leaked despite being used and abused in all sorts of weather). Two of us easily fir into a single tent and on occasions we have fitted three (very good friends...lol) As for the 'tool' you used - mah ...Russian Spetnaz entrenching tool rules.OK...lol Sharpen the hadrened steel edges to razor edge and you don't need any of the rest.....chops wood/necks/legs, tree roots shrivel up and disappear and trees/saplings break as you approach...ROTFLMFAO. Seriously if you want an all purpose tool go for that...The 'Cold Steel' one is a pretty good replica if you can't source an original (they are rare as rocking horse shit but can be found occasionally). I have several tents from the usual brands, but after watching one of your previous clips about the F2, I bought a new one for just over £30.00. I have only used it once so far, but condensation aside, it is easily my favourite tent. The condensation was probably my fault for not opening the vents.

Your tent looked to have 2 long rectangular “windows” for lack of a better word running close to the bottom of the tent. Are those long vents that you can close? I believe that the metal washer bit came off of the main handle. Love your content Allen!
