Greece are just a few of the amazing places a single man has done himself..........for his love of animals...and the Dutch man who hatches birds is so gentle and kind................your dad is great!!!!.........

I used to have a boyfriend who'd threaten my kitten, because he thought it was funny. I told him to knock it off, and when he found my lack of consent immaterial to _his_ amusement, he told me to choose. I chose the kitty, who lived another 19 years. There's something Freudian about how some men hate cats.

They need to keep a good strong eye on the " dog chaser" . If he is allowed another dog , the owner is the same person , It's very questionable that the man's ideas will " correct " on their own . Please be careful ,!!!

The man with the piece of wood terrorising the French mastiff, is a brutal abuser and should be in jail. Anything we give our animals is minimal in comparison to what they give us in return. All we have to do is be kind, feed them, exercise them and bathe them occasionally and the love and loyalty we receive in return is beyond anything we deserve.

I was already crying watching the intro, 5 minutes in and I’m balling. 7 minutes I’m swinging back and forth between joy and grief. This is going to be a long 45 minutes but EVERYONE needs to see these stories until it becomes a thing of the past. Personally I think that the punishment and penalties should be increased. I’d like for some of (all) the animal cruelty laws to be the same as abusing a human, abusing a human child. I’m not in the UK so I don’t have any experience with their laws regarding animals, but from what they show here, it looks like they are doing a great job with enforcement. I wish they enforced like this in my country.

If it were not for my fur babies I'd be dead already. I couldn't care for myself didnt see the point anymore after everything I loved and cared about was taken away from me, suicide was always on my mind. My first fur baby found me under an overpass waiting for death to take me home. Something licked me I look down and this two pound puppy looking as lost as I felt was wagging it's tail at me hoping for help. I went door to door for three days trying to find his owner but no one knew him. Obi wan saved my life and gave me purpose once again. We rescued each other that day, he is now seven years old living it up in our beautiful home with his four cat sibilings. We both have fostered over 150 fur babies together. Right now we are fostering a pitty mother and her 11 puppies two are blind and will be participating in this year's Puppy Bowl for the Super Bowl on febuary 12th and Phoenix Suns puppy races febuary 15th. Because of that one puppy whom found me while homeless I am still alive along with many other lives that would not have made it with out us. We take large litters beacuse I know how difficult it can be for many to take them all on at once.

The connections we have with our hounds is more profound in that have no genetic bond. It is all empathy and in the soul. My hounds are my equals in companionship. 12:00 omfg that's so sad, my heart legit cracked. When I was 10, somebody close to me that i loved at the time beat my dog in front of me. This woman gave my dog brain damage. I was 10 and scared that I was next....because i usually was. I just sat there and cried. I still regret that I did nothing. I'm still ashamed I let it happen. Over 20 years later and I still have flashbacks and I still carry guilt. I should've stepped in and taken the beating. In retrospect, what was one more right? Abuse stays with you for a lifetime. I hope Georgie lives happily from now on. Don't do what I did and watch like a lump. Do something! ❤ 🐕 💋

Please, go look at a 10 year old sometime. Spend time chatting with them, if you can. And then imagine that child in the situation you were in. Would you blame them for not intervening? As kids, we often feel like we're more mature and capable and in control than we really are, and so when something bad happens, we tend to overestimate our control and responsibility for what happened. It's easier to see the reality as an adult looking at a child - you can see just how young they really are and how little they know and can do.

That is so sick and disgusting. Ultimate betrayal as the dog trusts the owner then is made to be terrified. Worst thing ever next to parents that abuse their kids, which literally makes me sick to my stomach. What to do, imagine the many times such parents or owners are never caught and some innocent is trapped in such hell. Grrrrr, what to do. I hate cruel humans lacking empathy.

Not only treating the dog, which was done by medication every 4 weeks, but cleaning the house all over several times, washing the dogbeds, spraying every single surface with anti-parasite. I went by spraying the floors with concentrated vinegar before cleaning because of the mites. I got myself infected and had an itching blotch kf skin on ja calve. It takes a long time for an animal to get over a fear that was brought on to them by a human. I had a cat who had the same fear as Ellie, but he would bolt out of the room in a panic. It took him a long time to understand that the man that he was around now weren't like his ex-owner that they weren't gonna hurt him. I never once blamed him for that fear in the 12 years of owning him. He did eventually got over his fear of men and instead of bolting out of the room he would calming walk out of the room instead.

We picked up a dog that my husband recognized as having mange. Our vet took multiple scrapes and finally! was diagnosed. We had to rub on a horrible stinky green goop. To see shots given is such a huge success. That was in 1960's.

PS. He was a collie Shepard mix. Silver long hair with the Shepard body and the bullet run. Beautiful! He went to a farm with land to run on. Name, Bullet.

Domesticated animals don't get a choice of their environment, we do. This abusive monster should not be allowed near the public, or animals. Our animals deserve our best, thankyou for saving so many lives 💗

I didn't think Ruby looked that bad. 7 days in lieu of 5 isn't that bad. If it had been a few weeks, that might be different. They should just have a vet they can go to. Some places also have pet food banks where you can go once a month.

The problem with not sticking to schedules like this is the pests can become resistant. Same as microbes. Plus with too much of a delay between treatments means the survivors can rebuild their numbers. Obviously it helped but not quite well enough. That's probably why they got a second chance.. it sounded like a miscommunication.

my god!!!! those poor dogs were soo skinny. and the beautiful, terrified dog. how, just how? can a person DO that to a pet - they have feelings and spirits. i always get so mad 😠 thank goodness they got rescued!! 🐕 🌷🌱 the last couple aren’t there mentally - all they seem to do is yell at her and give the dogs cake!!! they do love them though. glad they came around.

Exactly, owning a pet is like having a child, if their parents did the things they're doing to their beloved babies when they were children, imagine how it'd feel then.

Clearly new laws need to be made and some changed. Such as you can't leave a pet alone for no more than 2 days alone. Regardless. Aside most shouldn't have pets. No education or money to take care.

I have worked with more than one dog that was aggressive towards men...in questioning owner..there was domestic abuse in home by man to the woman..the dog became her protector..but we had a great man in our HS..we would alert him..got another dog with issues towards men..in a short time..everyone of those dogs learned to trust again..never aggressive..heck..they were some of the very best and new owners couldn't believe how lucky they were to gave them.

Ruby’s owners sound like their mental capacity would benefit with more hands on assist. Many people love their pets, just don’t have the training, or “the sense” to follow through accurately. The vet is right… give them another chance - and maybe have a caring support team to help them learn.

Children too. There are those who should NOT be alone with children. There are many many more who think they know how to raise children - but we’ve learned SO much about brain development and the importance of good nutrition as well as loving support - especially over the last 10 years.

There ya go. I also thought a bit of encouragement would not have gone amiss there as well. They did ok and seemed to be barely taking care of their own issues. That's what I have been saying in the comments here (instead of getting on with my day LOL), Give the govt an inch and one day ... they'll tell you not to leave you home and to basically stop your own breathing if you do!

People who beat and torture animals should be sent to clean animal protection shelters. Apart from being fined a good amount of money taken directly form their bank accounts. And the worse cases, jailed for at least 6 months, without fine, but charged a reasonabe amount of money for their sustenance in jail.
