This is going to be a long 45 minutes but EVERYONE needs to see these stories until it becomes a thing of the past. Personally I think that the punishment and penalties should be increased. I’d like for some of (all) the animal cruelty laws to be the same as abusing a human, abusing a human child. I’m not in the UK so I don’t have any experience with their laws regarding animals, but from what they show here, it looks like they are doing a great job with enforcement. If it were not for my fur babies I'd be dead already. I couldn't care for myself didnt see the point anymore after everything I loved and cared about was taken away from me, suicide was always on my mind. My first fur baby found me under an overpass waiting for death to take me home. Something licked me I look down and this two pound puppy looking as lost as I felt was wagging it's tail at me hoping for help. I went door to door for three days trying to find his owner but no one knew him. Obi wan saved my life and gave me purpose once again. We rescued each other that day, he is now seven years old living it up in our beautiful home with his four cat sibilings. We both have fostered over 150 fur babies together. Right now we are fostering a pitty mother and her 11 puppies two are blind and will be participating in this year's Puppy Bowl for the Super Bowl on febuary 12th and Phoenix Suns puppy races febuary 15th. Because of that one puppy whom found me while homeless I am still alive along with many other lives that would not have made it with out us. We take large litters beacuse I know how difficult it can be for many to take them all on at once.

Please, go look at a 10 year old sometime. Spend time chatting with them, if you can. And then imagine that child in the situation you were in. Would you blame them for not intervening? As kids, we often feel like we're more mature and capable and in control than we really are, and so when something bad happens, we tend to overestimate our control and responsibility for what happened. It's easier to see the reality as an adult looking at a child - you can see just how young they really are and how little they know and can do.

This is bs!!! That abuser should be in jail and a fine of 10 grand and no more dogs. And 5 years working to clean dog kennels.

Ruby’s owners sound like their mental capacity would benefit with more hands on assist. Many people love their pets, just don’t have the training, or “the sense” to follow through accurately. The vet is right… give them another chance - and maybe have a caring support team to help them learn.

Children too. There are those who should NOT be alone with children. There are many many more who think they know how to raise children - but we’ve learned SO much about brain development and the importance of good nutrition as well as loving support - especially over the last 10 years.

Every 5 days and every week are different. A bite of cake will not hurt a pet now and then, sheesh.

There ya go. I also thought a bit of encouragement would not have gone amiss there as well. They did ok and seemed to be barely taking care of their own issues. That's what I have been saying in the comments here (instead of getting on with my day LOL), Give the govt an inch and one day ... they'll tell you not to leave you home and to basically stop your own breathing if you do!

We have a rescue dog and cat. both are doing fantastic. such lovely pumpkins. Dog is a Pitbull x Mastiff and when we had her, she was just skin and bones. Now, she is a gorgeous and super strong muffin of sweetness. The cat is now old, but happy in her basement dwelling and cuddles a lot.

Spaying & Neutering help prevent cancer! If the owners of Jade would have had her spayed she would have had a lower risk of developing mamory cancer! I 💕💕💕 the ppl who foster(sometimes keep) & adopt these older 🐶🐕 bc they deserve it! If I was allowed 🐶🐕 in our apartment I would definitely foster bc I am unable to work & could give it round the clock care!

There are so many people living in disgusting conditions and having cats and dogs suffer about that. How are they not be able Toner see that they are making demselben and their animals suffer?

People who beat and torture animals should be sent to clean animal protection shelters. Apart from being fined a good amount of money taken directly form their bank accounts. And the worse cases, jailed for at least 6 months, without fine, but charged a reasonabe amount of money for their sustenance in jail.
