Haha, I moved to Paris from dc when I was 11 in 2013, I was there for around 4 years and I totally get the not having friends part. Tough at the beginning, but it took me around 1-2 years to make good friends. France is an amazing country as you said, great videos, and glad you got to experience a part of it.

Hi Maximilian ( very german ^^ , as your last name ) My 13 yo son is about to experience a "way back home" in France after 6 years in US, no need to say he's no more french, even he speaks perfect french as a native. This come back is a big concern for me. Your comparison between US and french school was almost reassuring, my son went to school in France in primary school, and found a HUGE difference with school in US. A bit less now he's in middle school ... You have been in France a short time, but long enough to find some difference between social life of teens your age of both countries. Your videos are refreshing and inspiring, you have some talent for that. Keep on oh, I am a french father, my english is probably not as perfect as my french :-)

it’s crazy because I think that my high school ( in California) is only one of the few schools that’s has blocks and not periods. Basically I only have 3 classes a day, so let’s say I have 3 certain classes on Monday, I won’t have them until Wednesday and that’s how it goes all year. “White and red days” I’ve never had all my 6 classes in one day. Also, my block are 1hr and 30 min, super long.

as a french student, I think that is super cool if you want to come and I am pretty sure people will help you if you have difficulties.

"In a couple years" So i imagine you have time to improve your french. And even if you have difficulties (you will not speak a perfect french when you will come), people can help you, a lot of students in College have a decent level in English. And if you are not confident about your level of french there is a curriculum for foreigners students so everything will be ok ;). At the end of your studies in France you will be really good in french and proud of you ;)
