I vote British fashion. Though Bridal isn't exactly the same pool as expose fashion,it influences my overall view. I simply haven't admired any French wedding styles as much I have British. I can see so many British suiting myself as well as others. Princess Victoria of Sweden was also eye-catching. Food is possibly 50/50 . I love a cucumber sandwich as much as a croissant,I enjoy (creamy,not eggy) quiche and berries and cream. There are definitely some foods I don't think I could stomach though. I wouldn't choose them as my favorite cuisines in the world - there are ones with a lot more fruit, vegetable,and nuts/seeds/spices diversity dish wise. I generally would pick different favorite foods from different places overall.

Greetings from the UK! British fashion is one of the best in the world. Some of the world’s greatest designers have come from the UK (John Galliano for Dior, Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen etc). If you visit any big city, you’ll see tons of great street style from regular folk. In the suburbs and countryside, they’re more low-key, but look ‘put together’. See how the Queen and Royal Family dress, for example. So, yes, British fashion and style certainly packs a punch. 🇬🇧💷
@lissandrafreljord79132 жыл бұрын
I do agree that British fashion has improved a lot over the years, but it still lacks the reputation of French and Italian fashion. Why is it that all the major British designers present their haute couture collection and even some of their ready-to-wear collection in Paris Fashion Week and not London Fashion Week? Because Paris is the capital of haute couture. Galliano worked most of his entire career in Paris, for French fashion houses like Givenchy, Dior, and now Maison Marigiella. He even resides in France. His own brand John Galliano was never something he fully invested in, compared to his days in Dior (current Dior by Maria Grazia Chiuri is way worse than Galliano's theatrical Dior). The late Alexander McQueen also worked for Givenchy for a couple of years. He and Galliano, as well as Vivianne Westwood are by far the best British fashion designers in haute couture. Stella McCartney also presented her first and even latest collection in Paris Fashion Week.

Likewise when referring to London as though it's the whole of England. The capitals are practically like completely different countries to the rest of each respective country. Judging either by their capitals is a bad idea. Which is why I've always said, if I travel to any country, I'd rather go to a rural area than a large city as the cities don't give a real idea of the genuine national cultures like the rural areas/villages and small towns do.

Whether you like it or not, British banter is the best. We don't get offended by your "jokes", rather we're bored and annoyed of the fact you repeat the same ones like "Bri ish" "wa'er". Everyone is obsessed with us so we get angry with that

I went to a supermarket in Paris and said bonjour to a cashier . The the French man who was before me on the line and who was collecting his groceries, started to speak in English to me like : excuse me I need to take a bag, thank you. It sounded like he wanted to point it out that he noticed I’m not french because of my accent . It was kinda funny

I don't think that the way Brits party should be considered as a win tbh.
