Frere Jacques String Trio, a Round in Three Parts

This year, Grade 5 continuing string students learned Frere Jacques, a French folk song also known as "Are you Sleeping?" In this video, the Lynn Strings teachers play Frere Jacques as a round, which is a special music composition where each person plays the same melody but starts at a different time.
