The prices of food is expensive in the Los cacicazgos area, especially in the downtown center grocery store. It’s like being back home in America. I noticed that I found better fruit and vegetables in the street markets than supermarkets! And every time I’m back in the DR 🇩🇴 I always get a 2 gallon container and go fill it up with coconut water, it’s a must, it’s the most hydrating drink you can have. Santo Domingo is my second home.

Yes area like Los Cacicazgos the foods in those supermarkets are more expensive because of the area. Pretty much same here in Naco verses typical Dominican neighborhoods.
