Great video Norberis! So many memories for my wife and I in this video...our first date was at Adrian Tropical on the Malacon, stayed at Jaragua during Carnival, stayed at Barcelo Santo Domingo once and so many of those other hotels. Feels like we are there with you! My favorite restaurant in Zona Colonial has to be Meson de Bari. Have you ever eaten there? It's a great date night for you and your husband.

@NorberisR3 жыл бұрын
I don't know why people come here with their cheap cameras making video about that. I can literally go to any major city in the US and do the same thing. It's very disingenuous. Is poverty here high of course but there are many well off Dominicans and areas that are nice.

I've never been in Santo Domingo, so your tours are fascinating to follow and have a great learning curve .. much appreciated, Norberis .. and special thanks to your cameraman! There is one thing though which I always wonder - how the heck can you guys live with such a mess in the air - all these electric wires and cables hanging over your head like a spider web - does anyone have a clue where do they go and which ones are still working :)) DR cities would look more beautiful and much cleaner, imho if you'd manage to bring all these powerlines underground someday :))
@louisescano39613 жыл бұрын
Hi, you are so right about that, is a mess they started in the historical area, but only few streets, the corruption specially the last governments stole billions of dollars. DR is not a poor country, the politician's and impresarios are a special breed of mafiosos.
