Helen, so glad to have caught live! Gurl, I wasn't sure about my potatoes (1st time growing) finally I decided I really needed to harvest (all died back). But with all the rain, I held off now 4 yellow mushrooms? are growing. Plan to dump out tomorrow. The garden in July & Aug is an experiment ; you never know what you will get. You keep me encouraged; jump right back in Gurl we need you.

On the point you mentioned about the exploded juice jar.. I didn't know a WATERMELON would explode. I had just purchased two seeded watermelons the day the power went out .. and three days later, it had been so hot in my home -- that I went to move one of them and it started hissing and exploded.. Live and learn.
