MUCH respect to the lady 2nd from left in the line! Almost everyone else has on a flat soled dancing boot which makes it easier to dance. But not my sister second from the left. Umm, we've been doing this in local bars since the '80's... Now I'm "old...er" we do this as exercise. They are good but this is an everyday thing where I come from. Great for keeping your weight down.

I’m not a fan of country music but I *LOVE* line dancing. I dance in a different genré but love line dancing bcuz It attracts people from all walks of life. You might be on the floor with a Dr or Lawyer or a fast food worker or farmer. It doesnt matter who you are or what you have. You also don’t have to be asked to dance, you just get out there. You don’t even have to be good at it. You also don’t have to be single (Where as with 2-step if you’re asked to dance by someone of the opposite sex you better have an understanding spouse or be single) Its also a dance appropriate for any age. To me, line dancing is one of the most inclusive types of entertainment.

@@maryharris5384 it reminded me of a boyfriend who would do that in public if I got attention to remind people I was “his” . I thought he was hot until then lol. Loved the dance. I was learning dance. I would have tried this. Love my cowboy boots but alas I’m healing from my right ankle being hit by a car. Cant even get in those boots now after surgery. It’s going to be a long time before I get my dance back on but I hopefully will try this with dancer friends in the future 🙏🏻💃
