Freshen Up Cycle (Steam Only) - Miele WWV 980 WPS Passion

Testing out the "Freshen Up" cycle in my Miele WWV980 WPS Passion washer on a shirt I wore briefly. I was impressed with the amount of steam produced by the machine - I would say this is more than on the Miele WKR770 it replaced. Also this machine has "pre ironing" which I suspect uses the drum's heating element as well since it got so hot - the shirt smelt like it had been ironed at the end.

the steam generator is the same as the one used in the dryers with honey steam, except that the washing machine combines the action of steam with the water heating resistance

If I could suggest one cycle it would be, Cottons 40 with Extra Rinse, Intensive and Water Plus but you go into program sequence and set the “Water Plus Level” to be at the maximum as well as turning on “Maximum Rinse Level” because I want to see what that does. I hope that’s possible if not I understand. It’s just I’ve never seen the Passion operating before. I’ve only seen one on display in store

I noticed your steam jet the white plastic part is bent slightly, you can move it back into a straight position easily 👍🏻

Mine is also bent. How do you move it back to straight? Mine isn’t budging.

@@SuperWasherKid2002 I don’t think it’s possible and I tried just before but there is still a gap between rubber and the plastic jet. At what point in this video can you see it bent? I will compare to that but I can’t find it
