Now imagine Freshlyground performing at the Kistenbosch Bonatical Gardens in Cape Town on lush green grass set against Table Mountain with flora that can only be found in South Africa on a Summers Evening where the sun sets by 8.30pm and you surrounded by a diverse population of all races just as they are in their group... Mesmerizing... The UK group Soul II Soul will be performing at that venue in February

The genre is Afro-soul. It was a massive genre in South Africa in the mid-2000s to early 2010s. It's still around but not on on that level anymore.

The thing about south African music is there are so many genres house rap rock etc and they will be sung in different languages the diversity is so rich its there's something for everybody and we have been making hits for a while now
