wow thank you for updating your lists with graded tiers, I commented on your hd490 video and wasn't expecting anything but am nicely surprised to find them graded now. It's rare to see a youtuber to go to this level of service for their viewers so I really do appreciate it a lot. I did end up just going with the hd560s after the pc38x not really doing as well as I expected it to. HD560s definitely blows them out of the water as you mentioned. I was also considering the hd490, but many people considered them overpriced and too similar to the hd560s to be considered worth buying over the hd560s. Again, thank you! Edit: I didn't see you mention the wooting 60HE keyboard as well, i ordered one as it has been getting a lot of praise due to its analog set up and customizable actuation points and rapid trigger settings. I would advise to have a look into those.

If it would be okay, I would like to hear your opinion on a decision. so I am someone new to competitive fps titles currently playing Valorant and R6. But I would like to reach new heights (currently in ascendant) I am coming from a Cloud Alpha then 'upgraded' (honestly not sure if it is an upgrade) to Cloud 3 wireless (which I feel sounds boring and really lacks bass, especially compared to the Alpha). I am interested in the Fiio JT1 because of its Bass while being said to be clear with good staging and imaging. for both fun listening and competitive gaming? Would the Fiio JT1 be an upgrade for me, coming from the cloud alpha and the cloud 3 wireless? or would it not be worth it when I still have the cloud alpha? for someone who does not have an amp/dac whatsoever, would the JT1 be an upgrade? or should I just get a Em6l?

I had some time at work to play with them and I have great news that the bass port on top of the cup heavily influences the bass. If you completely cover it you loose a lot of bass. Ordered a set off AliExpress, it gets sold out soon as it re stocks. I got a 2.5 mm balanced cable in addition to use this with my fiio btr5! I have the samson sr850, they are open backs and sound absolutely Fantastic for the price especially with a dac. They are really detailed, wide and somewhat neutral but still very fun sounding with punch to it. I'm curious how the JT1's are gonna compare!

Will these be a good alternative to the Sennheiser HD 560 S? Iven been looking for a closed back headset with similar amazing sound. My environment is too loud when gaming for open backs even tho the 560's sound really good with my JDS amp and dac.

It’s not as good as the 560s. But they’re good

pity you didn't take the time to test with cheaper amps as someone who buys these is not going to spend enough to buy any thing like you test amps
@FreshReviewsYT8 ай бұрын
That’s ok. Fortunately you have a plethora of other reviews to watch on KZbin and can get a culmination of information before making a purchase. But, unfortunately I’m not going to keep 15 amps around in my studio to test each headphone.

JT1 is not a closed back, it sounds like one but it is an open back
@Yes_Jorge_Yes6 ай бұрын
I own these headphones 1. is not a close back it has a metal cover with holes in them, there is a lot of damping. 2. the headphones are very microphonic if you touch the metal you can hear it a bit disturbing. 3. I disagree that has a good bass, they are bright I have 4 different amps including tube amps and they are very bright with all amps. 5. yes good value but they are not as great as all the reviewers want you to think. They remind a lot of the Superlux HD668 which are 47 dollars.
@FreshReviewsYT6 ай бұрын
The review and comments are based on the price segment. They’re advertised as a closed back. Whether the isolation is not as good as other headphones is one thing, but it’s not an open back.

EDIT: Nope the SRH440A from what I've seen is more V-shaped and bassier it seems, distinct from the SRH440. Tougher to find than the SRH440 from where I am at. ---- (Orig comment) Does the Shure SRH440A count? I've been seeing this model name pop up on recommendations under $100 for closed back HPs but sadly the lack of budget (yes unfortunately) and availability in my country means I'd have to take a while before I can get to even try if they work for me or not.

@@autotropicplaybench1819 Worse stock, worsd eqed frequency because of resonance on 10khz. Also look at Takstar 82 Pro. But they need to be eqed, take one preset from oratory.

Its not closedback!!!Just dampened a lot,but still leaking the outer sides!
@FreshReviewsYT8 ай бұрын
It’s a closed back headphone. Closed back headphones can still bleed and/or have bad sound isolation which I mentioned this set bleeds in comments below.
@pappsa88 ай бұрын
Men,if its closed as you said,still have 2 vents on each cups,that is one of the reason the leaking!!So for that just one reason it cant be closed,okey?! Second thing its bleeding at the sides toi,not because the pads isolate badly! Its open with foam dempening! This is minium a HUGE semi open headphone!Your welcome
