Clovis is a suburb of Fresno it is part of the Fresno metropolitan area - reminds me a bit of Sacramento Vs Folsom - Sacramento being the bigger city in the middle of the Central Valley and Folsom being in the Sierra Nevada foothills just like Clovis

I’ve lived in Fresno my whole life and I can’t wait until the day I can move away. Clovis is alright, but it shares many of Fresno’s problems. All the smog in the air, the homeless problem that’s rising, the drug addicts, and the extreme heat and dry summers just kills me. At least Clovis has a nice downtown, Fresno’s is like a zombie apocalypse

Those who think Clovis is the safest and best area to grow up in obviously come from more blue collar families. I grew up from a wealthy family in North Fresno and people in my neighborhoods viewed Clovis as more poor working class people.

Many have said they rather live in Clovis just for the sake of having a Clovis address and not have a Fresno one. Due to the historical bad stigma and reputation Fresno has had in the state of CA, that is a big deal.

VISALIA and TULARE COUNTY IS BETTER than Fresno/Clovis...only decent town thats on the county line between fresno and tulare counties that is BEST out of fresno county is KINGSBURG.

Visalia's downtown kicks Fresno's downtown AND the Tower Districts ass all day. Kingsburg's downtown is awesome too. Plus the Swedish/Mexican population spawns tons of gorgeous, slim but thick, 6 foot tall Amazonian women with golden blonde hair to go with their perfectly tanned skin.
