Michigan typically huddles. Helmet comms are not that important. They will mostly have two plays called--run or other run. The center will call out blocking adjustments based on alignment. I'm more concerned about the starting center than starting QB.

Lol they went through the turmoil last season and went 15-0. UofM rotated 73 guys a game(most in the country) for over ½ a season, 45 the remainder. UofMs 2nd string oline would of started somewhere last season. No look ahead, 1-0 mentality.

UofM rotated 3 deep at every position on defense with zero drop off. There will be 5 first rounders on this defense by seasons end. UofM is also deep and talented at Offensive line, it was the first unit Jim addressed.. LT Hinton, border 5* now a senior over 1500 snaps. LG Priebe All B1G LG last season, senior over 1500 snaps. C Crippen 4* IMG Academy with a mean streak, over 200 snaps, senior RG El-Hadi top 100 player in the country, borderline 5* over 150 snaps senior. RT Gentry top 100 player in the country, borderline 5 star, over 100 snaps, senior. This year's team by class recruiting ranks, will be more talented than last year's team.
