Thank you Lindsay for a behind the scenes look and your interviews with these artists. It’s great to hear their thoughts and ideas. We are living in a wonderful time of the explosion of creativity in the development of the acoustic guitar.

So fun to watch Richard Hoover learn something new - he's been building guitars forever and still excited to be learning new things.

Lindsay, friend of Matt Chulka here and owner of two beautiful Froggy Bottom guitars from his shop. My wife grew up with Ed Putney who owns Eddie's guitars, and as hesitant as I was to first go in there, she pushed me a little, and I am so glad to this day that I did. Amazing to me that so many of the guitars that you featured in your video were headed for Eddie's guitars, but then again, I should not be surprised. When I landed my Froggy Bottom model F, Matt brought in for me to compare four other guitars. Santa Cruz, Collings, Goodall, and Bourgeois, all in the same price range as the Froggy Bottom. I also had my treasured 1976 Martin d28 that I bought brand new for comparison. At the end of the 4 hours of testing guitars it was no question for me and my ear, the Froggy Bottom model f was the one that spoke to me. Played that thing for well over 6 months everyday and so fell in love with it that I asked Matt one day, what would you get to complete a froggy bottom collection if you had one and wanted another? Matt, without hesitation said, if I had your model f, then I would get a model c to compliment it. So, I sold my Martin and several other guitars to fund the model c, which we had the guys at froggy make to match my model f. What a wonderful experience working with Matt! As a side note, I've got an appointment with Matt in the next week or two to go in and play that Blind guitar as well as a Circle Strings dreadnought that was not in your video but is also made with mahogany from the tree! Thanks for such a great video and all the best in your music making!
