I've subscribed for a few years. David's unique teaching style of breaking each song down to fundamental elements and methodically building up to an embellished tune in one month is better than any other on-line instructor (and many, many "in-person" instructors) that I've come across in my twenty years of taking guitar lessons in several genre. Hi:I am a 70 year old wann be blues player for my own enjoyment. I don't want to be a rock star. I'm too old for that I'm a retired man who wants to be able to play for my own enjoyment.

Maybe I'm too new and missed something, but he didn't seem to use this idea to apply to the pentatonics.

He was using notes of the Em pentatonic scale and the b5 from the blues scale to demonstrate the ideas/concepts in this video.
