Damn fine playin' there. Never heard of a 6 string semi fretless before, but as a five string it looks like a nice wide fretboard for someone with sausage fingers like myself.
@adrel666 Жыл бұрын
Thanks🙂. Yes, it made for a comfortable 5 string, especially with the nylon strings.

Very cool - what's it like with the wider spacing between the strings?
@adrel6662 жыл бұрын
Thanks. The wider spacing works well with the thicker nylon minstrel strings.

Could you know me name of this tune?
@adrel666 Жыл бұрын
It's not really a tune, it's just something I came up with whilst testing and recording the banjo. Probably a mish mash of various tunes😀
@mikegager3 жыл бұрын
have you ever mentioned what you use for recording? always sounds amazing
@adrel6663 жыл бұрын
Thanks. I just use an old Zoom H4n which I've had for 13 years, no mixing or effects are added, I plug it straight into a zoom q2n video recorder.
@mikegager3 жыл бұрын
@@adrel666 i would of guessed you had some fancy pickup inside the banjo lol sometimes simple is better!
@nicholasdover33692 ай бұрын
Why is it called “claw hammer “?
@adrel6662 ай бұрын
Not quite sure, but think it's because the right hand is in a claw like way and the strings are hammered in a downward motion with the fingers, rather than plucked. Other names for it, are Frailing and down picking, think there is more too🥴
