The setup for that was absolutely insane. The entire session is woven together as a story in 4 arcs. There's a first game in which we get a feel for how our characters play and what the game is capped off with the deep and subtle foreshadowing brought by the frustration of lion knuckles. A second arc from 23:06 where Chilled steps away from spymaster, but through Smarty being Smarty over multiple short games, Chilled is faced with the prospect of reclaiming the burden to lead his team to victory. Then the third arc - 40:30. We know it's one more game. We see the teams. We see the board and we know what is to come. Chilled takes a big risk that only pays off slightly as both teams bumble around and Courtilly takes the mantle of main villain spearheading the push to all the worst cards, but Tom and Platy make their own blue card blunders - Tom has the foreboding name on FAMILY, but it's small peas compared to Courtilly's damage. With COURTILLY 0, as Courtilly continues to ravage the team despite the clue, Tom distinguishes himself as Chilled's impulsive hero while Platy is the subtle voice of reason, and the two prevent the worst from happening by taking a logic leap into white. But then - act 4 - Tom forebodingly states, 57:05 : "Yo, no matter what I'm hitting FAMILY next round," to everyone's laughing disapproval. We have a recap with Chilled and Aphex over the shenanigans of both teams, as the blue turn begins. Smarty hovers over some blue cards, fails to consult his teammate for the first pick, and declares his faith in a blue FAMILY, but he pulls a magnificent Smarty moment with his teammate and vindicates Platy's continued, quiet faith in SHARK from the very first clue Chilled gave. And then - the next clue is laid out perfectly. 2 art cards, 1 Van. As Chilled slowly comes to realize the clue after entertaining a risky one that could've led to FAMILY, there's a brief moment where the audience gains hope. Chilled knows it's his moment. The team is working together with Tom consulting his team on each one, Courtilly is reformed, and the red cards come slamming through. All is okay, and perhaps the danger will be in the discussion of the final card? But then Tom's impulsiveness, Tom's declaration, they come bearing their terrible fruit in an instant. By the time we realize that the thing we've dreaded is happening _now,_ it's already over - the audience is led to be as shocked with mood whiplash as Chilled. Tom scores for blue and leaves them with only 2 cards, chaos ensues - Chilled unmutes, Platy berates Tom, and Aphex and Smarty cut off any hope left of a final victory before the dust settles. The scene ends after Chilled's grief where he airs it all out in front of the whole cast - it was lion knuckles all that time ago, and now he was Fricked by FAMILY. Even as _Smarty_ is in the background _justifying a misstep of his,_ Chilled says of Court that he'd never seen someone as wrong as her, before reclining back in defeat. The cast speaks of Chilled's emotional damage. "I never thought family would turn on us so hard," Courtilly muses over a defeated Chilled. "I know," Tom says.

Fun historical interpretation of the Taj Mahal (read this paper in a Middle Eastern Art Class): Taj Mahal is not some triumphant marker of affection to his favorite wife (he had hundreds). The Taj Mahal was low key a giant throne fit for God that the shah sort of implied he should sit in. The justifications were strong, and I'm inclined to believe a ruler with such an inferiority complex would commission a work like that and for that reason. You should see how over the top his royal print of the Shahnameh was (which was another low key dick measuring contest for rulers in that region).
