The first woman makes it hard on people who really need it. Properties don't have to accept section 8. When people behave like her, they won't want to accept government assisted tenants. I've been on HUD before bc I couldn't keep a job due to my autoimmune disease constantly putting me in the hospital. People like her make it harder on people who really need it bc it causes people to be more judgmental towards the actual people who are in a true crisis. I know I got judged bc others assumed I was like her, but in reality, I've worked all of my life and was very grateful for the help. I knew quite a few people on HUD who had my attitude. Most of that complex housed veterans who were struggling financially. I'd like to thank the taxpayers who helped us!

I used to live at a really nice apartment in San Diego. The landlord decided to accept section 8. The people who showed up trashed the place within two weeks. Cars were being broken into, the laundry room had been ransacked, people were having loud parties during the workday nights. All the regular renters moved out as soon as they could. That experience ensured that I would never rent at any place that accepted section 8 again.

Relationship in the last case. The guardian is the childs paternal grandmother. Sounds like the childs father also lives with her. Mom is a (former?) drug addict only recently out of jail who hasn't been ordered to pay child support yet but now that she is out grandma wants support. Mom doesn't want a support order so she is arguing the guardianship should just be dissolved and she get custody. A future court date will decide which happens. My prediction is Mom's mouth and attitude is going to get her in trouble now that everything is being monitored by the court, ensuring that the current custody arrangement remains in place.

I mean.. yea lol who wouldn’t want to get their GPS removed though? I’m also curious to know what his charges are.. To me he just sounds like a 1A auditor. Having said that, it isn’t illegal to record inside of city hall unless you enter restricted areas. So he’s not wrong about that. Not sure if he’s banned from city hall or not. That would make sense. But considering the judge asked if he would be going into the city hall and he stated that he might have to go with his father for his business. This one would be much better with context. Also, he stated he was in full compliance and had been for 8 months. That’s a long time to not screw up and wear a GPS monitor. There needs to be more context.. The guy could be completely in the right here. But he could just be trying to instigate as well. Again, it’s not illegal to record what is in public view. It’s also not illegal to record inside of city hall UNLESS you’re attempting to go in restricted areas. As annoying as 1A auditors can be, if they actually know the laws, abide by them, and act in a respectful, reasonable manner (always depends on their intent), they can be quite useful. But if they’re out there NOT abiding by the law, instigating workers and the public, being disruptive and disrespectful, and trying to push past restrictive areas.. they are completely defeating the purpose behind said “audit”.
@southernladyish5 күн бұрын
It’s possible (and likely) he repeatedly harassed the city hall workers in an unlawful manner and was given a trespass that he did not abide by. Which is why the whole claim of going into city hall is an issue. I will say he is pretty smug.. that NEVER helps in these types of situations. When you think you know everything.. that usually means you know nothing. He seems like the very type of person to park his car close to city hall for no other reason that to tip off GPS so he can be a smug d bag in court 😑 having said that, I don’t think he’s creepy.. I think he’s just an ass lol

While maintaining client confidentiality she has told me way too many stories about how parents try to get kids - in one case SEVEN in one family - disability due to ADHD, etc. One woman claimed her son “sweats too much”. Of course all these cases have an MD doing the final determination or at least their stamp of approval. While a good majority of cases are denied the first time, the government in their infinite wisdom will approve all kinds of ridiculous claims because of the optics. If the client (child or otherwise) is a minority they get approved. It’s ridiculous and despicable. The government just won’t turn these applicants down.
