Probation overrides your legal drug... people are so dumb alcohol is legal but the Judge forbids it on probation..sooo there you go... and of course they don't want treatment because they don't want to keep their drug habit.. he gets $40K and needs to live with his Mom??? So PTSD equals drug addiction because it's in the book and he likes his drugs so yeah he'll stay dirty and it's so sad because he needs help..

Alcohol is not illegal, and alcohol withdrawal can be fatal, but its still a controlled substance and courts can restrict use. Marijuana is still illegal federally, in states that have legalized it its still a controlled substance and courts restrict its use.
