Hey Scott, the word " Pancake" was a registered ®️ Trademark ™️ in 1936 in the United States. But, being that there's so many different variations like you said, there's no infringements.

Hey Scott, I know you do shoe repair. The local cobbler is retiring and wants to sell his business. Only cobbler in the county. Would you recommend getting into shoe repair or should I leave it alone?

It is not to hard learn how to fix shoes BUT shoes are made to not be fixed. But with that said shoe repair is handy to know
