HELL YES, this is a Fisticuffs! Fighter's Destiny is THE best fighting game on the N64. Well, Fighter's Destiny 2 but whatever. The fighting is just so highly technical it's incredible to think it came out on that console.

I'm very glad to see this game get some love. I used to rent Fighter's Destiny 2 as a kid and it is still my favorite fighting game. That we haven't gotten a spiritual successor, something uses the point system of this game, is really a big shame.

The escape from being thrown moves reminds me of 'Ehrgeiz - God Bless the Ring' escape throw moves, gheese did Japan have a data stuck pile of 'public domain' basic mocap animations? or Every company hire the same guy who did the 3d moves? as some of these moves are very familiar.
