HiroProtagonest And thier are several reasons that may be. They most likely prioritized the characters in production based on who the writers had as fights in the story mode. That alone takes a ton of time for modeling, sound, balancing, testing, and several other things. Teams are split into several areas in game development. The guys that make models just make models. It is an entirely different team that handles the actual character as a whole. It is a very expensive and time consuming process to make a single character in a fighting game. Do some research on how games are developed before popping off online about something you dont even know about. Prioritization is key, and sometimes things dont make the deadline.

Thumbnail choice is awesome. Scrublord intro with Fisticuff logo is hilarious. Quick note, and I apologize if you’ve heard it a thousand times in the comments already, there are still some characters with Z-motion inputs for specials. Ryu shoryuken is normal, and there are a few others. Not many, but they are there. I’m personally a fan of the change to DoubleDown rather than Z-motion.

That's the thing I keep hearing about this game. In terms of presentation and amount of content it's pretty lacking for a full priced retail fighting game in 2017 (I think Angry Joe said the amount of content in particular probably would have been more acceptable about a decade ago), but in terms of gameplay it's actually INCREDIBLY solid and addicting. Max in particular said that he knew right away people would probably hate him for not saying he thinks the game is total crap based just on presentation alone, because he said that to him it might be the most fun he's had with a Capcom fighter in more than a decade and he has a hard time putting it down. Personally I can't help but feel maybe the game should have been released at a lower price.

That's always been a thing Capcom's done for American releases. Even when Bishamon chopped people in half or Ken rocketed his fist through someone's jaw they edit the blood into nondescript white stuff (sweat?) instead. The glowing purple liquid they used in our Darkstalkers 3 in place of the blood that seeps out of Jedah's arms in his idle stance looked kinda neat though.

I still say with a few more months to a year in the oven and someone kicking marvel in the ass and telling them to let them have access to all the characters it could have been good. I don't get the capcom side like did they remove several characters and give us one new guy? I'll say this; the game isn't terrible but it has some obvious flaws that can be adressed. The game still plays well it just is the roster and art style that need updating. (I'm still gonna support the series cause the next possible MVC could learn and build up off this especially after seeing this outcry.) I dislike the notion of these companies making a barebones game and then shelving it because they messed up thinking "fans don't like [____] games anymore and thus don't want this." It happened to mass effect and I don't want it to happen to the only decent crossover fighter on the playstation. Thanks woolie for making this video and being rational about explaining what you dislike rather than shitting on it completely like some people have been. -plus give me breath of fire characters capcom-

Li-Li Mandragon well good news because she is more boring than them, she has no villains barely any side characters, her personality is super generic and the only interesting stories she's been apart of are the ones where she gets screwed over due to being the victim the entire time or being the villain from minority report and not in an interesting way
