Play Samurai gun. Play Lethal League These are both great games. Samurai gun is like this, but with guns, bullet deflecting, and ninja gaiden wall jumping and coolness. Lethal League is the crossbreed of a fighting game and Pong, with heavy hip hop influence. It's pretty sweet.

So this was the first Friday Night Fisticuffs that I could actually enjoy, but i'll be honest; I don't much care for fighting games. And I will freely admit it is because I am terrible at memorizing combos & executing them, which is why games like Divekick or Smash Bros are appealing to me. But If you played more games like this (competitive multiplayer, but not necessarily traditional fighting games) I would be 100% on-board with this series! It's just that up until now I haven't really had any interest in or nostalgia for the majority of the games you have played for this feature. That is all! Just one fan's opinion! I'm willing to accept that FNF is simply not for me, and maybe appeals to many others.

Yeah, I feel the same way. every standard fighting game fisticuffs is nothing but them talking about lore I know absolutely nothing about from whatever fighting game and saying "OH USE HIS (INPUT TERM), IT'S A (MOVE NAME REFERENCING ANOTHER FIGHTING GAME I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT)" and the like, usually while whichever one of them is most familiar with that particular game dominates everyone else or they all flail about badly. this one was so much more fun because despite there not being much substantive commentary to be had, the spectacle and hype levels were the shit, much like the divekick tournament imo fisticuffs should be more *competitive* games and not strictly fighting games, they're way more fun to watch.
