Oh, man, my weekly cult ritual. A few things from me. 1. I'm pretty humbled by the reception and turn around of some of the feedback you guys have gotten. 2. Roxanne absolutely showed out this game. Blue just makes her play so tricksy in comparison to her normal build paths. It's super cool. 3. Somebody absolutely get Rich some sleeves. Bolas would never approve. 😂 4. Fitz, they did NOT in fact, edit that out, and I'm glad. 😂 As always, I am stoked for another installment of the series. While one deck definitely performed at a higher rate, I am convinced that any of the other decks could have done just as well if their game plans had fallen through. Hard to judge it though with how it went. It definitely worked out for Nick here but my meteor triggers would have probably committed more to removing on board presence rather than reducing life totals as he did a few times. As for Fitz's deck, I definitely see the direction he's going for here and it would be disgusting provided he can get enough pieces together, but that might have just been a problem for this game. I probably would be a fan of pairing Tergrid with creatures like The Locust God or Xyris. About the same board plan but opens you to a couple colors to work with and throwing in 5-8 wheel effects to discard all hands to Tergrid and gumming up the board to dumb proportions while stopping your opponents from making cohesive decisions because they might never have the same cards in hand each round. Then just packing in something like Triumph of the Hoards or Beastmaster's Ascension for quick game ending combats. I digress, thank you cult brothers for taking me out of this reality for an hour. Howard here, We always look forward to your comments. We are slowly trying to improve video by video taking feedback from comments like yours. We look forward to continuing to dish out content weekly if time permits. Thee next game my combo shows a little bit. Its very satisfying. Hopefully it will be available to view friday. Some great synergistic choices here. Nick's combination of Roxxie and Grandpa is a pretty solid pairing. Giving Roxanne access to blue and white is potent. Would have liked to see Howard's strategy shine a little more. Brigid and Saryth are two pretty solid choices and pair well together.

It's definitely way more interesting seeing partners of mixed colors over pairs that can seemingly go into the same deck. Maybe that's just how our group explored the new rules. Hopefully, they bring this ruleset back soon!

Nice content as always! Nobody asked but I'd like to see an "Unpopular Commander" episode. Commanders with less than X amount of decks on edhrec. A lot of good commanders get overlooked or are better in the 99 but still need the love. Arwen Weaver of Hope is an example I built and she's so much fun but got overshadowed by the other nutty legends of the set. Anyway keep up the good content so I have stuff to watch at work!

This is a good idea! I wonder how low they can go before commanders turn from unique to terrible?

There are a lot of obscure commanders out there that could make for interesting gameplay. We like building and playing new commanders, I think everyone is on the lookout for a fresh deck, but we have some commanders in our closets that might fit this criteria. Let the cult members rummage and see what we can come up with! Thanks for the suggestion!

@@EDH_Cult The newer stuff will be a lot better for channel growth. I found you guys while looking for Roxanne stuff when she was revealed. Maybe pull this out between sets when the hype for the new stuff dies down.
