The lady asleep brought back memories when I helped take care of my two young granddaughters while their Mom was ill,. For weeks neither grandma got proper rest! Many times I would leave her house when the other grandma showed up to relieve me. I had an hour drive home. I would pull over half way home, and in the Pool City parking lot I would take a 20 minute nap. I didn't feel safe trying to make it all the way home. Many times, my son in law would talk to me on the phone all the way home just to make sure I made it there safely. I totally understand people needing to pull over. It is better than driving when too tired. Blessings!

Between 2013 and 2020 I was an Australian living in Washington, my only interaction with Pierce County was a welfare check similar to the ones in this video. I was exhausted driving from Portland to Bellevue and pulled into a back lot to sleep to get away from the noise of the freeway. The officers were understandably curious why I was sleeping in a new car away from the freeway at night in a back lot. Not knowing US laws, I didn't realize you needed to keep registration in the vehicle so that was the only wrinkle (I had a bunch of loan and vehicle purchase paperwork in my name but not the registration). They used my plates and VIN to confirm the vehicle was mine. They checked my US license and Australian passport, then told me to stay and rest as long as needed. Overall it was a pleasant and reasonable experience.

Yeah, I just got pulled over for a brake light and thirteen hours later I was at the mechanic. Trouble is Jeeps of a certain age, like mine, have a chronic issue with brake lights. It's a dual filament bulb and weirdly, the running light works but the brake light does not. I just spent $60 on parts to fix the problem for a third and hopefully final time.

Hey Deputy just an FYI tail lights and brake lights are different. I wish of the three times I was stopped on Pac Ave it was one of you guys instead of State Patrol. 😂😂 Always make sure your headlights are on, not just parking lights!

I did a walk around of my Jeep, all running lights were on so off to the post office I went...and got stopped by a cop who told me one brake light was out. I admit I was a little wired, all I could think was "What does he want? I've been good."

There's rotten ones in every profession. I could tell you many negative encounters & outcomes...coming from someone who shows respect, and has no criminal record 😡 best thing you can do is RECORD from multiple angles. Don't think bc they have cameras you're safe.

Nope, its for cutting seat belts, or clothing when applying first aid. Deputies are better trained on first aid than in the past and carry lots of gear for trauma victims.

6:29 The problem is more & more of those signs go up. When I come back to my hometown areas I find all the hiking places have these signs or houses been built. For example: Victor Falls was fine with it not being an official park but back in 2014 the city of Bonney Lake just had to make it a park. Fast forward to when I was here around the holidays...Whole area is fenced off. No access to the falls or stream anymore. RUINED 😔

Well-done videos but my only concern is with Cappetto's hair. It could easily be grabbed and pulled during a physical confrontation. Every female officer I see in the San Diego area has hair pulled back and banded in some way to prevent this. Off-duty, no problem.
