That is true because sometime around last month a police officer in lorton Ohio shot a golden retriever, because it charge towards the officer, since the dog go wanted to play with the officer. It’s pretty hard to tell if he shot him because he’s corrupt or if he was actually scared because he claims he was scared that it would attack him. Which I’m not sure if it’s an excuse or if he actually thought that tbh.

It’s tricky because you want the deputy to be able to chase but you don’t realize how dangerous chases are. You’re seeing a lot of departments put in their policies that you can’t chase. Here in Colorado an officer was chasing a stolen car, the suspect ran a stop sign and hit another car killing two people. Stolen property isn’t worth someone’s life. Has nothing to do with the left or right.

I used to ride with my best friend with the Dallas Police. What really happens regularly is that people speed past the Police car doing the speed limit at a high rate of speed. Why would anybody do this is a mystery to me. About half the time we would get into a chase with them. They start turning on neighborhood streets and we lose them half the time. Then we have to go to the usual car accidents. When we go into a restaurant to eat at lunch time, the Police always offer to pay but the restaurant owner will not let then. I don't know how it is now, but that was the way it was years ago. Lots of speeding ticket writing and also just warning people that there is something wrong with their car that they didn't know about like a light out. There were no speed traps or anything like that. They didn't have to. I think it really opened my eyes about the things the Police see every day that citizens don't think about. I believe that if all the the city officials had to ride so many hours a month with the Police, it would improve many things. These observations were before the madness of the drug culture so I don't know how it is now.

I want to commend these officers for not automatically just shooting that Pitbull, the poor dog doesn't know any better look at the environment it's in. I own a pitbull and they are some of the most loving loyal dogs. It was clear that dog was simply scared of what was going on. Great great job!
