i believe this is much better way to spar , only people who are trained old scholl would say hard sparring is the way. Its much better to be mentally prepare and trained that means to step into the octagon without carrying damage from training and having a weak chin because of it.

I like what Im seeing from Cody in training and in his recent fight. Hes not dropping his opposite hand while throwing, is keeping a nice guard up in fact and is using more distance management strikes to set eveyrything up. The days of Cody losing his shit and going Wanderlei Silva on dudes at the wrong moments is likely over.
