She seems like a sweetheart and to be honest people either love her or don't care for her one iota, and I've heard other opinions people have shared like they find her irritating or annoying... and such... which I don't find either but when I think of pretentiousness I don't associate that with her at all. I think she's fun, endearing and charming. I'd love to knock back a few beers and play some pool with the jukebox on play in a dive somewhere until we get nice and buzzed and end up singing. And I don't see her thinking she would be above that prospect. I could see her doing that. She seems like a real sweethearted person who deserves the success she has garnered. I don't have any tolerance for pretentious people either so I would respectfully disagree with the last comment, predictably. But fair enough..

She is great and can handle so well this disrespectful interview. I can't appreciate the way Jonathan Ross, bigger than life, tries to belittle her or annoy her with his comments. But she is very clever and lovely and know how to handle a guy with this big ego. He's being "funny", this behaviour is his trademark, but he's not funny really, it is not nice. And he's not exactly like this with all his guests. He's rude to many, but not to all. He can't hide who he really admires. Well, it was not the case with Sarah Jessica Parker, but I think by the end of the interview he learnt to respect her more.
