To be honest, I don't think Michael Richard's was all that funny pre-Seinfeld. Talented, gifted, yes. But his early film and Friday characters were a bit unhinged and overly goofy. Subtle humor is much funnier than the more obvious, over acted stuff. Kramer was and always will be his best work

Yep. It only lasted 2 seasons for a reason. And SNL really sucked at this time..it was after Lorne and the original cast had just left.
