If you store cottage cheese and yogurt upside down, especially after opening, they will last twice as long. It helps to keep air out.

Thanks for the video, Kay! I purchased the blue apples because of your recommendation from a previous fridge video. And they work great! Today you helped me solve the problem of storing more veggies than we usually have at one time. We have been trying to eat healthier in 2020 thus more veggies. My crisper drawers are now overflowing so I will be purchasing the veggie crisper containers soon. Stay safe and well.

eggs do not need to be refrigerated THAT cold. As long as you use the eggs in a timely manner, they won't even have time to go bad before you use them up. I sometimes keep a few eggs on my counter if I know I am going to be using a lot that week. I do buy organic brown eggs, though. They have a thicker shell.

Thank you for all your videos. I have a small fridge which I share with my Mom who travels back and forth from Florida to NY. We share the top shelf she has the middle shelf and I the bottom. It is therefore hard to organize or make it look nice since she likes storingt hings in plastic bags which looks ugly. We each have a bottom drawer. Thank you for the guides. I Watched a video that said to wrap the tops of bananas with foil to stop ethylene from escaping and effecting other produce. I'm trying it. Who knows.

I'm so envious of your lovely large fridge, Kay! Lol Ours in the UK tend to be a lot smaller, so not so much can be stored as well as yours - I've 2 extra people staying because of the pandemic, and trying to keep food for 3 people, to last a fortnight, is a nightmare right now :/ I just recently bought a gadget for the fridge, that absorbs the ethanol from fruit and veggies, thus making them last longer, so I'll let you know if it actually works after it gets to me! Lol Do give Clover a stroke for me, would you? Lol

I have two bottom crisper drawers; but they actually have a slide/button an you can side it towards "fuit" or "vegetable". My problem is I keep both fruits and vegitables in the same drawer. The other drawer is used for my Mom's medicines.

Sometimes if you put some plastic wrap around the stems it will extend the life a bit! But it’s literally the reason I only buy like 4 at a time lol
