Yes well detailed and simplified well enough for someone who wants to try it. I hate kneading flour but I would try your technique. I also encounter pressure kneading it in bowls and basins. So I guess we on similar paths so I would give it a try your way. Thanks for uploading!

Such magic. Do you have to add yeast?
@JennaGTheHijabiTT6 жыл бұрын
It isn't necessary but i like to softness and extra rise it gives
@denisefrancois47274 жыл бұрын
You can get the same result minus the yeast.

Assalam Alaikum, I make my bake d same way with yeast. Just I add a little piece of cookeen to d flour before kneading. I know it's not healthy, but how often are u frying bake...
@JennaGTheHijabiTT5 жыл бұрын
cookeen? ill definitely try that next time!
@iankhan22425 жыл бұрын
Yes cookeen makes a nice bake and it keeps soft plus it's not dry inside but if you don't want to use cookeen you can put one table spoon of olive oil for each pound of flour.

Hey Sister I don't know where you are from but in T&T we call that fry roti and you don't need baking powder and yeast to make a good fry bake believe me just one is good enough yeast makes a better bake and it stays softer next day than when you use baking powder i don't know why you so call cooks try to change the recipes that your parents and neighbors taught you yes we all try to improve but stop messing up this is not your first.
@JennaGTheHijabiTT5 жыл бұрын
Hi... never heard of it as Fry roti and yes you are right by saying either yeast or baking powder is good enough. However using some yeast gives a more bread like bake. As I say in all my videos...my videos are based on my preferences and likes. I share my videos to show my version of various food items. Anyone can feel free to adjust accordingly. There is never a right or wrong way to cook something. We all have different tastes/likes. So my apologies if you think that this is ‘messing up’ but I will continue to show my version of dishes. Some will like them and some will not and that’s expected. I am however always open to hearing about various ways of making the same things. Thanks much for the feedback. It’s always appreciated.

@@JennaGTheHijabiTT Hi I hope I did not offended you in any way with my comments yes we all have our own way of making dishes by adding or taking away. I do enjoy your show and you do make some lovely dishes and good instructions keep up the good work maybe I will send you some of my recipes on local cooking TT which I know you will love especially the taste just make sure you don't bite your fingers. Love and Respect.
