Double yolk eggs are completely natural. They're laid by younger hens with immature reproductive systems. These hens ovulate twice in quick succession, causing a single shell to form around two egg yolks. On that basis we can say that while chance of finding one double-yolk egg may be 1/1000, the chance of finding a second is considerably higher - more like 1/100. And the same goes for the third and fourth eggs. !!!!!!!THE CHICKEN NUGGETS LOOK FANTASTIC!!!!!!

I have had double yokes before but never two in a row. Maybe two in two years.😀 On another note the easiest way I have found to bread chicken is put the flour in a Tupperware style bowl, add the chicken, snap on the lid and shake it. Covers everything and you don't get flour all over the place. You might not need it but I a bit of a messy cook which is why I cook outside as much as I can. Good looking appetizer by the way.

We buy our eggs fresh from an egg farm. The jumbo size eggs are easily 90% double yolked. We buy them 3-4 times a year, but rest of time buy the x-large, closer to normal sized eggs. X-large double yolked are rare.
