Fried fish in fermented black bean sauce. So delicious with hot rice.
Ingredients
1 kg whole fish
Oil for frying
Sauce ingredients
5-6 cloves finely chopped garlic
1/2 minced red onion
1 tsp minced ginger
1 finely diced semi-ripe chillie
2 tbsp minced fermented black beans
1/2 cup water
1/4 tsp mushroom granules
1 tbsp brown sugar ( more if needed)
Cornflour solution for thickening
