As part of meal prep for the week or when i check out a Chinese restaurant for the first time i'll order bbq pork or char siu appetizer to go so can do dishes like this, fry with noodle or leftover rice, and serve over salad greens, spinach, or cooked vegetable -- and talk like Cooking Ah Pa

I suggest just rinse using hot water if u want, u only blanch it when u want it cooked straightaway
