Fun fact a fox saved my life! I passed out in the woods and my mom and friend found me because they followed a fox. The fox didn't actually lead them to me but my friend said she had this weird feeling and knew she should head in the same direction! Crazy enough I was located in a field the fox went into!!

Foxes are canines. Means in same exact family as dogs you would have as pets, police use etc etc. I believe it, Plus foxes tend to be very smart and very charming! They probably have seen enough people to know something wasn’t right and went looking for another human. I have Atleast 3 foxes on my land, huge bit of farm land and they are absolutely charming animals. One of them is basically my pet. She comes around and hangs out with me and she recently got hurt something attacked her, so she been nesting on my back Porch, I made her a nice little cave type house using scrape wood and added some soft dog bed inside and she curls Up inside of there, comes out sits with me and hangs out with me while I eat my breakfast on back porch... she really a sweety. One morning bad thunderstorm, which is my fav for just watching from my porch, she was scared. She basically demanded I hold her. And wouldn’t stop squeaking till I did. She sat on my lap and accepted my shoulder rubs and ear scratches until the storm passed the. She darted off to do her foxy stuff. She probably was someone’s pet before and escaped, but I don’t know. I know Atleast 2 other foxes who legit don’t not mind me, even gotten within petting distance of me, they don’t let me pet them, and just sat and watched me work on my trails cutting down thorn bushes and stuff so I can ride my ATVs freely without getting sliced up. They follow me around sometimes I think they want me to follow them and they make all sorts of noises and seem to want me to follow but I can’t get to where they are going.. I bet they wanna show me something they found.

I have a 5ish acre backyard and even larger woods behind my house. We have many animals, pets and farm animals. A den of foxes live in the woods behind put house and we were worried that theyd be a threat to goats and sheep in our enclosure. Over time, we moved things around and eventually befriended the family of foxes! Once the boy matured, he tried to stay with us by moving closer while he searches for a mate. It worked out, and now he and his family visit our backyard frequently!! Theyre adorable!

I have seen many youtube videos of people having foxes as pets from Russian fox experiment and they are not bad pets like Coyote say if you know what you are doing they can be amazing pets. I do get why Coyote said they make bad pets tho but if you have a huge outdoor enclosure and like a little doggy door where they can enter to an inside space they can be amazing pets.
