I was still a teenager when this came out, loved it then and still love it now. Time flies kids, enjoy every moment as much as possible. Battling depression and anxiety is a lifelong struggle but know it gets better, you learn ways to cope. Music, dancing and singing along to your favorite songs are just a few great ways to do that. Processing trauma is hard work so give yourself permission to feel something other than pain or stress. You deserve to be happy. You get one life, fight for your right to love it and be happy. Sending love and healing to anyone here listening to this song and reading this comment. ❤️

This song reminds me of the fall of 2011. I just graduated high school in June 2011 and this girl that I knew from high school went off to a college in southern minnesota and I stayed in Minneapolis. I remember sitting in my garage listening to this song and getting like oddly overly emotional about her lol 😂 I went down to see her one weekend in September of 2011. We got drunk and she rejected me. I was so torn up about it but I moved on. Fast forward 3 years later she hits me up and on the first hang out we bang and it was awesome but we dated for two months and it was garbage. Classic. Its a stupid dumb memory and saga of memories in my life but its one for the books. Thanks for reading.
