Olie bollen are available whole year round mostly on a market , kermis /circus, other festivities or amusment parks and they are always mid/end of october . as the fist saturday after the november 11 saint nicolaas arives in the country . and warm olie bollen , apple flappen etc are a traditional cold weather snack.
