But he remembered a guy left it in the apartment that same night. He originally found the sweater the same day Ross was wearing it. Like Ross was wearing it with Joey. Joey goes out. Comes home a few hours later. Notices Rachel has a guy in her room. Sees the same sweater Ross was wearing earlier in the day, knows that it belongs to whatever guy is in Rachel’s room, but doesn’t even consider the guy who was just wearing it a few hours ago in that very apartment when he left? Mind you this is the same man who figured out Chandler and Monica were sleeping together because Monica couldn’t find her eyelash curler. We know he’s observant.
