Their kiss says so much and it makes me blush 🤭 I love the way Larry fills her out first and then goes in for it bc even tho that’s new territory for them and he knows that once he kisses her there’s no going back…he also knows it feels right in his bones and he trusts that she wants the same thing as him. So, when she smiles into his kiss it just confirms what he knew and aww how satisfying and it makes my heart melt 😭❤ it was a short but tender kiss and her delighted little “Oh” afterwards was such a nice touch 🤗 I look forward to next season and seeing it all unravel. I know it’s a drama so there’s going to be opposition at some point from Aunt Agnes and prob Mrs Russell but they’re literally perfect together. I appreciate when two characters are written to be soulmates and it translates off the paper. Bravo. I also loved looking back at all of the scenes from season 1 where it’s clear that Larry immediately saw her as beautiful and intriguing..way before Marian looked at him in that way. Tbh, Idt she really really looked at Larry as a potential mate until that kiss lol her head is always so scrambled with so many other things lol plus, he really played the friend role so well with her. I love how patient he was with Marian. And how genuine, he wasn’t just her friend just to get with her but he really enjoys his friendship with her. I can go on and on but I truly enjoy when romance is well written

Es muy bonito como se desarrolla su relación primero como amigos y ahora como una pareja q esperemos puedan con todos los obstáculos q vendrán, es decir, tía Agnes y la Sra Russell. Aunq no se como va poder la tía Agnes meterse ya q al primo Oscar lo estafaron y perdieron gran parte de la fortuna de los Van Ryke, pero ahora q la tía Ada ha heredado la fortuna de su difunto marido no se como van a estar las cosas, pero lo q sí estoy segura es q la tía Ada va ser un apoyo y ayuda para amarían en lo q decida. Esta más q claro q la Sra Russell va buscar una heredera con mucho dinero o bien nombre para q sea su nuera como está puso los ojos en el duque para su hija, Gladys es un perfecto ejemplo de lo q se conocerá en Europa como las princesas del dólar, ya q van a ser herederas de las nuevos ricos EEUU q se van a casar con la aristocracia empobrecida europea En serie de Downton abbey q es del mismo creador q la Edad dorada, el personaje de la condesa Cora Crawley es el ejemplo de lo q acabo de decir con Gladys, el conde Grantham enamora a Cora Levinson x su dote q es bastante

I think these two actors have great chemistry together in addition to the writing of their storyline being done in a brilliantly slow burn manner. They appear so comfortable and natural with each other on screen it feels like watching two friends just slapping around and being goofy together. So relaxed. It definitely makes you feel like their relationship is real and genuine. [As a side note/prediction for season 3 or possibly 4, based on Julian Fellowes' psychotic need to emotionally torture his female characters and thus, his audience, he will most certainly kill Larry Russell after Marian and Larry get married, have at least one beautiful baby, and are living their best upper class late Victorian life. JF cannot seem to allow this for his female characters so my money is on Larry Russell dies in an upcoming season. I don't, of course, want it to happen. But there's at least a 75% chance that it will.]

Omg I said the same thingggggg! I was like yay they finally kissed 😆 but oh no, Larry will be dead by season 4 😪😒😒😒 and he won’t deserve that fate…it’ll break way too many ppl’s hearts. Larry dying will affect his family who love and cherish him dearly, I mean he’s the best big brother to his little sister. His father looks up to his son as much as his son looks up to him and his mother just adores him. Of course it’ll hurt Marian, they’re soulmates after all 😏 and therefore that will hurt Aunt Ada to see her sweet little niece so broken. And It’ll crush his new up and coming business partner, Jack and so on and so forth. And lastly, us as the audience 😭 Sigh. I’m bracing myself

As an Army General he could have been sent away on assignment for an undetermined period of time and then been brought back once or twice a season as his schedule allowed. But in addition to Lady Mary's anguish, I was also referring to Lady Edith's misery being drawn out for all 6 seasons, Lady Grantham having to watch her daughter die and not be able to save or even comfort her, and the Anna/Bates storyline.

Season #3 LARRIAN! If a couple are friends before they marry, they will be friends after they are married or when they age together. The respect will be there because the attraction won't be based on being "in lust". That is why it is a good idea to marry someone who is a friend who is in one's same group of friends when one is young and also (since, even today, most people travel within the same socio-economic group, and within the same community) that the parents at least know each other. As the Pennsylvania Dutch say: "Cooking lasts, kissing don't" (hint: Learn to cook male/female it is a good skill)

it does need more charm moments or zesty twinkle comebacks like there were in Downton Abby. Ada for sure,, perhaps the daughter when she smiles and can be in charge of herself. There was not twinkle of a flirt between Larry and Marian before the kiss., like there was with the Lawyer. Good luck I like the show, I would like to live it!
